The Mermaid And The Moon

Tell me dear if you know the answer
Whether life would be much better
Our tale of love more enchanting
If I was a mermaid in a distant sea
And you the beautiful white moon .

Tell me dear tell me please
Would you still love me then
From that unfathomable height
From that vast distance of space .

Would you look at me in tenderness
Would you listen to my songs
Which I would sing in my loneliness
Sitting alone on the bed of a rock
Staring at you with love
Lying down dreaming all night
Bathing in your silver light .

Tell me dear I want to hear
If the dawn arrives awaking the moor
Hiding you behind the veil of blue sky
And me merged into the deep blue sea
Will you miss me ,will you recall me
In your distant kingdom ,among the stars.

Will you search me there
Will you wait for the night again
To meet again ,to shower me again
With your warm love and pearly light .

Will you shed a tear and take a sigh
If the grey clouds block your ways
If I too lost my way in the caves
And I couldn’t come to this place
To this rudy rock on the surface .

Tell me dear without any fear
If our love will be the same
In any form ,in any time
In any place ,in any distance .

If our hearts will beat like this
In this sweetest harmony
In this beautiful rythm
Forever and always !

.
